The Vulcano has an admirable reputation, with many guests returning year after year. This hotel is ideal for adults of all ages as it benefits from a quiet yet central location, which is close to the sandy beach and features an impressive atrium filled with palms and exotic plants. There is an extensive range of facilities (some based at the sister Hotel Bitacora) and high standards of service making it popular with couples and groups of friends.

Room Info
Standard rooms (2-3 adults) have twin beds plus sofa bed, satellite TV, individually controlled air conditioning, hairdryer, full bathroom and balcony.
Pool view rooms which include bathrobes, pool towels and fruit and wine on arrival, twin rooms for sole use and twin rooms with pool view for sole use are available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in August at the Vulcano. The hotel is ideally situated between Los Christianos and Costa Adeje, allowing us to walk each day along the prom to either location, plus walk locally to all the shops in Las Americas. We also used the local bus service, which we found very convenient and value for money in visiting places like Santa Cruz and Los Gigantes.
The Vulcano fully merits its rating as 4* and we found the food to have sufficient variety and quality to be enjoyable throughout the day. Our room was on the second floor looking out onto the path we used to go to the centre and we were not disturbed by outside noise. Our holiday rep, Lucy, was very helpful but we did not get a feedback form on the plane to express our thanks to her. Is there a way of feeding back our appreciation?
The only negative comment we would have on our holiday is the constant pestering by the shop assistants at the numerous electronics shops rudely and forcefully and rudely trying to get us to go into their shops and purchase goods. They seriously affected a very important part of our holiday as we enjoy walking as much as possible. Why don't the authorities take action to prevent this nuisance?

Hotel Vulcano - Excellent food - Evening entertainment could be better - Heated pool very relaxing no problem getting sun beds reception staff very helpfull cleanliness and housekeeping staff excellent - Will return next year definately and will recommend hotel to friends all in all very good holiday - PS if you miss breakfast go to Hole in the wall (IrishPub on the strip 5 minutes waldk from hotel and the staff in the Highlander pud very friendly

Food in Vulcano was poor with poor choice of meals. It certainly was a deterioration in the food from our stay in 2011

I would recommend a holiday organised by Thomas Cooke. Everything went very smoothly - good hotel, good location. Flights went on time. Could do with more leg room on the plane.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kenmar Top Class 4 Star Hotel in Tenerife
Once again we had an amazing Holiday at The Vulcano Hotel where all the staff were super friendly and very efficient, especially Daniel Fernandez, Head of the Restaurant who always makes up exceptionally welcome and is a wonderful asset to the hotel.

Great hotel and great location. Returned for the third time but our room this time was a little tired. Great food and staff very courtious.

Rated 2 out of 5 by William99 Hotel not as great as it is reputed to be.
Room had a view of the smoking area of the hotel next door. Swimming pool is not great and the area around the pool is not comfortable. Cooks do not know how to cook vegetables. Had a cockroach in our room, the staff did not seem too concerned when we reported this. Entertainment flatered to deceive.. Best feature was that the residents were all adults and the hotel was quiet at night. A room with a view would have helped greatly.
