We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of October. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The room was absolutely gorgeous and very big! The bathro
om is open plan but its lovely & I didnt find this to be an issue, the shower in the room was absolutely fantastic & so powerful. Our mini bar was not stocked up every day as it should have been but not really an issue. The room was kept so clean & the housekeeping staff do a marvellous job. The pool area was absolutely beautiful but the pool was absolutely freezing, it was so cold that we didnt use it. The hotel is right on the beach though and the sea is much warmer. The entertainment was good & they have various actvities throughout the day. The food was average and we became quite tiresome of eating the same thing every day. The reception staff were not very pleasant or helpful and you stood at reception / guest relations for quite a while before anyone acknowledged you, even when they were sat right in front of you playing on their mobile phones. The spa area was fantastic and the lady at the spa is so helpful, polite and friendly and a credit to the hotel. The hotel is very isolated with not much around, we got a taxi to the nearest town of Belek which was very nice but cost around 35 euros. The majority of the people here are German or Russian and the staff presume you are German & speak to you in German and then look at you like your an ailen when you speak English. Overall, it was a beautiful hotel and kept extremely clean but staff are not the friendliest (with the exception of the spa & entertainment team) and hotel was far too isolated for us. With regards to Thomas cook, when we arrved in Turkey..we were given details of our welcome meeting, we went and sat in the reception at the time given.... and we waited for over an hour but the rep didnt turn up. We contacted reception and arranged to meet her the next day, we met her the next day and she said the wrong day was written on our paperwork, hence why she didnt show but she did not apologise that we had waited for her for over an hour! Alot of excusions were unavailable because its out of season but we booked one trip for it to be cancelled due to lack of numbers and our rep didnt even know, we had to chase her for our refund! She had told us to contact reception if we needed her as they had her mobile number, but we went to reception and they had no idea who she was. We spoke to another thomas cook rep via reception who said he would contact her but it was her day off so we would have to wait for another day, when we she finally got in touch with us, she told us it hadnt been her day off at all. We were very disappointed with the representative service and we felt like we spent half our holiday being messed about. I have used Thomas Cook before and never had any issues, but this was a comedy of errors.

I had been very unsure about this as we booked months before the hotel was built so all we had to go on was the artist impressions. We were not too dissapointed. Upo
n arrival we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff - our bags were taken from us and we were seated in the lobby area. The lady from the reception desk came and sat with us to go through the usual paperwork. We declined the safe which I never agree with paying for. We were shown up to our room which was nice (if a little small) we should have booked the family room. The only problem was the view and the size of the balcony which was only suitable for two at a time. The minibar was filled daily with Still and Sparkeling water together with Sprite , Tango, Pepsi and Cola. Very nice when you went back to your room to get changed.
The pools were fantastic and just what the kids wanted aged 9 and 4. The slides were not like the drawings which was a shame and also the "water park" as they called it is shared with the hotel next door which was not advised in the brochure, however to be fare the hotel next door is adults only and so only kids were from Sherwood.
The food was nice and plentyful - always went away full. Drinks were just as expected so no issues there and the entertainment kept the kids amused each night. Advised whilst there by the TC rep that out of the 450 guest currenly in the hotel only 40ish were from the UK. The rest were German / Polish.
Shame for the kids but we had no issue with this.
Overall the holiday was really nice and would go back again.

Booked this holiday at 2 weeks notice as my brother in law and partner and kids was going and along came another friend of ours with her son.
We would have had a gre
at time regardless of where we was but what a great place to take a holiday in this hotel. The food had such a huge variety and sometimes although it was not to our likeing you couldnt complain because there was just so much to choose from. My bro in law absoloutely loved it as he'll try anything and he did.
The staff there right down to the cleaner was friendly the bar staff was always happy and kept the beer flowing and juice for the kids. The kids club deserve a pay rise they cant do enough to keep the kids entertained even at meal times they would be in there keeping them entertained and sitting with them getting them a drink if they needed one.
Entertainment throughout the day is really good so much going on if its not darts its waterpolo or swimming races or football on the beach there really is something for everyone here . When they performed in the nights with various shows they put a lot of time and effort into it and kept the girls glued to there seats watching the aladdin show
Over all the holiday was fantastic first time in this area of turkey and really enjoyed it and not only are we holidaying over this way next year but going back to the hotel aswell great time had by all the place was so clean and tidy and the facilitys are great

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at Sherwood Breezes Hotel. The food was excellent, there was always a wide variety. Drinks were available all day as was
ice cream and cakes! The water slides kept our children occupied as I had hoped they would. Sunbeds were reserved very early in the morning by some guests but that is my only moan.We did not see a Rep all week but didn't need one, the hotel staff were friendly and keen to please.I would be more than happy to recommend this resort/hotel.

The hotel only opened the week before we arrived but it was worth the risk!
There was a few teething problems but overall the hotel was fantastic - beautifully desi
gned rooms, lots of different eating and drinking areas and a huge outdoor area with pools and slides. I think once they get over the teething issues this will be 5/5 - all of the problems were related to a new opening and they were already on the case resolving everything.
We really enjoyed the food - especially the rotisserie chicken and burgers at the pool bar. I did find it strange that they served soup and mashed potatoes at breakfast but then people must have been eating it! The puddings are also not to be missed. The drinks are all local and you'll need to pay for anything imported - you really don't notice this if you indulge in the cocktails :) Wines are served by the glass and Effes beer is also available on tap.
The staff were also fantastic. The animation team was good at encouraging people to get involved - but also seemed to sense when you just wanted to relax. The evening shows are not to be missed with different teams coming in for special nights. We both really enjoyed the samba team - and every man there loved the samba girls :P
One tip - check out the spa area. We only used it for our showers on the last day and seriously regretted it!
We would both love a return visit - just not sure we'll get the chance to grab the same bargain as first time round!
Overall, I would recommend the hotel to everyone - you won't regret it :)

We were one of the first to stay at Sherwood Dreams and we really had an excellent time. The staff were really friendly and helpfull.
Okay the hotel still had very mi
nor work to finish off but it did not affect our holiday in any way.
The food was fantastic and there was always plenty of choice.
The rooms were cleaned every day and the hotel and its grounds were very clean.
Pools and the waterpark were very nice and we also went on the jet skis on the beach.
Entertainment at the hotel was good and we saw a couple of fantastic shows with the act from Brasil being the best we have ever seen.
You could join in th daytime activities if you wanted to but there was no pressure to do so.
I used the spa for a massage, face mask and Turkish bath and it was really relaxing.
As usual our flight was delayed with Thomas Cook so we probably wont travel with them again.

We enjoyed a very relaxing week at Sherwood Breezes (not Dreams). Hotel super clean. Fantastic service from staff. Food great. Pity Thomas Cook did/could not inform
us about all the summer maintenance work going on - not all the facilities were in use. Room at the back of the hotel, where we stayed, had a great view, but it was noisy at times due to deliveries and bin removals. Resort popular with German pensioners. Maybe not the perfect place for young active couples. Yet it was perfect if you wanted to sit around and do nothing. South Africans beware. You might get confused looks at passport control (although we should also only pay £10 for tourist visa and go through). We spent 45min in police office to get a 'police visa'. Made us feel like 2nd class citizens! Thomas Cook, you need to update your info with the Turkish authorities as the paper work we recieved was not accurate, please. Even on our return to the UK we had hassles at check-in. Not pleasant. The Thomas Cook rep at our hotel also got our return flight times wrong, which almost caused a big mix up.

Arrived in Antalya not really knowing what to expect. This was to be my daughter (almost 2yrs.) first holiday abroad. With this in mind we had booked an all inclusiv
e option where the hotel had many facilities on-site. Overall hotel was very good, if a little slow to come to life being the very beginning of the season, many facilities only opening for our final weekend!
Food variety was excellent for an all inclusive option, however get to dinner early to avoid having to fight for a table!
The only real dissapointment here is the area in which you are located. There is a strong sewer smell when you venture outside the hotel and there is nowhere really to walk and explore within close proximity like a harbour or old town.
Overall good though, just book - you cannot go too far wrong!
