Situated on the north western side of Africa and just a little over three hours flying time
from London, Morocco offers visitors a charming combination of landscapes and culture.
Separated from Europe by the Straits of Gibraltar it has all the charm of North Africa with a
strong French colonial influence. From the colourful souks of Marrakech to the wide
sandy beaches of Agadir, the surprises go on and on. Superb hotels and marvellous food make
this an unforgettable holiday experience. Morocco offers much more than a traditional summer
sun holiday. How many other places offer the variety of snow capped mountains, wide sandy
beaches and the breathtaking scenery of the Sahara.
For almost a thousand years Marrakech has been an imposing and dominant city. The first of
Morocco's Imperial Cities, it was founded in 1062. In more modern times, Marrakech has become
the commercial centre of the High Atlas and the Moroccan Sahara.
