Lovely hotel with helpful friendly staff in Limassol
We stayed at the Elias Beach Hotel for a week and whilst they were not set up for the coming summer season we had a relaxing stay. We were at this hotel for the wedding of a friends daughter and the staff could not have been better from start to finish. Whilst the weather was not perfect I have to say the staff and the hotel in general was. I would thoughroughly recommend this hotel. Feed was good, always freshly prepared and in ample quantities to satisfy everyone staying at the hotel which was busy but as it wasn't the biggest never seemed to be busy if that makes sense ! Everywhere was clean and the overall service excellent

Amazing wedding/holiday/honeymoon in Limassol, Cyprus :)
We stayed in the Elias Beach Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus. The reason we picked this hotel was that we wanted to get married on the beach in Limassol, but beach weddings aren't allowed in Limassol, so the nearest thing was the pier at the hotel. To be honest it was much better than a beach wedding, as you don't get covered in sand, so no sand in the guest's shoes and less chance of the wedding dress getting dirty. From the minute we arrived we were spoilt, as we had a surprise bottle of champagne waiting for us in our lovely room. We'd requested a honeymoon suite with a balcony overlooking the sea, and that was exactly what we got. The view was amazing, looking out over the 3 swimming pools, the gardens with palm trees and the sea, simply stunning. We went at the beginning of October (mainly because we didn't want to melt too much#, it was on average 30 degrees C whilst there. Even though it was late in the season, everything was still thriving, seemed to be a great place to take children too, as there was always entertainment on throughout the day and night for kids and adults. We were all inclusive, think the majority were. I enjoyed the food, as they catered for vegetarians, and it wasn't the same food everytime. However my boyfriend, or should I now say husband, wasn't always happy with the food, as he kept complaining it wasn't boiling hot, but he has got an asbestos mouth #he even microwaves chinese takeaways back home!!!#. There's free internet, no need to take your laptop, as they two computers for guests. Oh and a fabulous spa, my husband treated me to a treatmaent, ultimate de-stress after the wedding, pure bliss. The way they cater for weddings is lovely, as they only have one per day, not like the usual registry office where it can be one in/one out. The pier was all dressed up on the day and even had a red carpet too. It was rather windy on our wedding day, so a few of the guests got splashed with the odd wave or two, but it cooled us down, and I think it added a bit of humour to the occasion. Like my brother said, if it had gone perfect it would have been boring! There was only 14 of us, but it really didn't matter if there was only the 2 of us or 200, being on the pier made it extra special. I was a bit nervous about the long walk past the pools and gardens just to get to the start of the pier, but as it was 4pm, it was quite quiet. The day after the wedding we got a champagne breakfast in our room, and then got to choose which night to have a 5 course candlelight dinner, again with more champagne! We were stuffed! We would definately recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, it is more expensive than other hotels, but worth it. It's quite far away from the town centre #10Km), but there's a bus every 10/15 mins, only 1 Euro each way, or 6 Euro's all day. We hired a car, which I think is the best idea when staying away from the town, as there's plenty of places to visit, and with a car your not restricted to time. But it depends on the type of holiday you want, if you want to explore, get a car, if you want to chill'ax then don't bother, just lie by the pool/beach/garden/bar/terrace and soak up the sun ;)

Elias Beach Hotel, cyprus.
This was the best feature of the accomodation, the sea was lovely to swim in, very warm. We were disappointed with the hotel though, given it has 4* status, I would say it is more like 3*. The pool area was good, but the pool bar was (in our opinion) more like the local leisure centre at home.
Our room was more travellodge than Crowne Plaza and I had to complain 3 times over 2.5 days to get the toilet repaired (wouldn't flush).
The restraunts were not as expected (as in brochure), the food was luke warm most of the time and wasn't presented as you would expect of a 4* hotel. The reception area and bar on the first floor were of 4* quality, but that's about all!
The staff were polite and friendly and there are quite alot of weddings going on throughout the week (reason for us being there) on a lovely little pier - you can swim out to watch/listen which is kind of nicel.
I would go to Cyprus again, but not to this hotel.

all inclusive at Elias Beach
The hotel is excellent. The staff are very wellcoming, friendly and efficient. The location is excellent. The catering is excellent with chefs constantly attending to the buffet. One thing lets the dining room down. The plates are stored in heated trolleys but in two weeks we had hot plates on one occasion. I noticed several people handling the plates and one guest testing the temperature by placing the palm of his hand on the plate. To have coffee/Tea facilities in the room cost 6 euros a day. That is a bit excessive.
Overall we had an excellent holiday and intend to return next year
