The Filoxenia Hotel has everything you could need for that relaxing break youʼve been looking forward to. Surrounded by olive groves and countryside thereʼs some beautiful views in this semi-rural location. Outside there is plenty of space for you to take a dip or enjoy the sun as there are two pools to choose from. Children have a splash pool of their own and a playground to keep them happy, so itʼs great for families. Thereʼs also a bus stop right outside the hotel to let you head into the resort and experience Tsilivi or on to Zante Town.

great hotel just come back from the filoxiena, for the second time,. the hotel is very clean, rooms cleaned every day, with clean linen every day, all the staff are brilliant, cant do enough for you, chef is wonderfull, if there is nothing you want he will prepare you something else, the only small point is not enough evening entertainment, what there was is good, but not enough of it. All Inclusive in Tsilivi After a gap of 20 years my wife and I returned to the Greek islands, this time with our 12 and 16 year old children, picking Zante and the less busy resort of Tsilivi whilst also trying the All Inclusive Option. Staying at the Filoxenia we were impressed with the standard of accommodation, 2 separate spacious bedrooms were important to us and air conditioning a must plus rooms were cleaned daily. The staff were outstanding from Receptionist to Bar and Restaurant...they bent over backwards for everybody and always had a smile. 2 Pools available with plenty of sunbeds but we stuck to the main one close to the bar area. All inclusive meant drinks available throughout the day which saved a fortune in water, lemonade, coke, tea etc and food was both plentiful, of a high standard and with a great choice....but note that the beer is pretty weak in strength if you choose the free draught option. Breakfast was at 8, Lunch at 12, Snacks at 3:30 then Tea and Cakes at 5 before Dinner at 7:30. Tsilivi itself, whilst geared toward the tourist, still somehow manages to retain a quaintness in contrast to its neighbour Laganas. The walk in to the town/beach is more like 30 mins than the 15 that people quote but dont be put off by this as the hotel runs regular free buses down and back daily if you dont fancy the walk. All in all we though a great place and resort....fully enjoyable by all and good value for what we paid. August 25, 2011
Another great holiday This is the third time I have travelled to Tsilivi with my son and daughter (17 & 24). Stayed at Filoxenia each trip. The Filoxenia has just been refurbished to a very high standard. The rooms are spacious well equipped and kept very clean by a team of lovely ladies, Towels were changed every day and there were two for each person. There are two good sized pools to choose from with plenty of sun loungers to go round. The grounds are kept neat and tidy as are the pool areas. The poolside bar is well stocked and the bar persons are extremely friendly and very entertaining. I was booked for self catering on all three trips but having seen what was on offer for all inclusive this time I upgraded and loved every meal ! The buffet stlye meals were delicious and if there was nothing to temp you (and I could not understand why lol) then the chef would willingly cook up what ever you requested. Nothing was too much trouble for him. All the dining staff were a pleasure to meet. The Filoxenia is very child friendly and you never see an unhappy child because they go out of their way to make a fuss of them. All in all the Filoxenia is a very relaxing place to be. The bar is a very nice area in the evening as it is entertaining but not rowdy. We will definately be back. June 29, 2010
