Great holiday for couples and families
Hello, me and my partner stayed here in October 3rd 2013. We was impressed with the hotel had excellent food but not impressed with the beach area. There are various pools to swim which light up at night amazing. The kids have a good area to swim with slides and a nice park to play and indoor bit for young ones.
Excellent food and the staff were very good. The town was very easy to walk to and you have the local bus which would pick you up right out front of the hotel. We hired a bike and took a good tour around the island its worth it. Visited three islands which was very nice. The entertainment was funny had a good laugh. Go see the hot springs volcanic water you can go in like having a hot bath, which is past the Kos town.
I would love to take my family there as I liked the food excellent staff and the town and island is very nice to travel around. Well worth it xx

Great hotel spolit with numerous issues, not recommended for relaxing holiday
The holiday did not start great after arriving in Kos and being told our transfer bus was an hour late. On the way to the hotel we had an accident as the bus driver reversed into a telephone pole. Not the greatest of starts!
As for the hotel ....We booked this hotel after a lot of time researching various hotels and destinations. We chose this hotel due to the good reviews and how it was described and the phtographs suggested it was a nice relaxing hotel. It certainly looked very spa like and chilled. However nothing could be further from the truth.
When we arrived late at night the hotel looked amazing, relaxing bar, extremely clean and friendly staff. The next morning we got sunbeds by the big pool, got our books out and started to enjoy the lovely relaxed atmosphere..... until around 10.00am when the sound system lept into life with a rooster like noise and then Alibaba and his entertainment team arriving. It was UNBELIEVABLE! The music was so loud we couldnt even hear each other speak. We had to ask them to turn it down, which they did but not by much. In the end we couldn't stand it any longer and went to investigate the "beach". I use the term loosely as it is described as sand and shingle. Yes it is but there is no beach, it is so windy and there are no facilities there that no one actually uses the beach. Do not go to this hotel if you want to go to the beach.
The joy of our second day did not end here. That evening there was live entertainment. This was right outside our room and went on till gone midnight. It was so loud there was no way you could ever go to sleep. We complained to reception only to be told that the next night would be even worse as there was a party. The next morning we immediately requested to be moved, especially as we had contacted the hotel in advance and specifically asked for a room not by the bar, but were given a room by the bar. To be fair to them they did find us another room and this was much better.
The second night was also horrendous as the lovely quiet bar turned into a typical British brawl night with families actually physically fighting with one another. I'm pretty confident this is not the usual cliental stayiing here and this was not the hotels fault but it was still not acceptabe.
It really is a shame as this hotel has lots of potential as it looks amazing and the staff are great. It's ruined but a ridiculous and unecessary entertainment team. We did eat in the restaurants a few times and the food was excellent. I would never stay here again but I guess it is ok for families who may like the entertainment but not for us.
As for the journey home... again we purchased the transfer option. We were on the Bristol flight and were collected same time as the Manchester flight which left an hour before us. At the airport we were made to stand outside in the smoking area, which was disgusting, for over an hour as the airport was too small for us to fit in. When we asked our rep why we had been collected so early they said it was to save on coaches! This was not acceptbale to then make us stand outside for so long there was no need for us to have been collected so early. Really disappointing holiday!

Fantastic holiday at Pelagos Suites Hotel, Lambi, nr Kos
Stayed in this hotel for a week from 11th October 2012, we all wished we had booked for longer. Hotel is excellent - no complaints whatsoever. Our rooms (junior suites) were superb, so comfortable - and clean - towels changed daily. All the staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. As we went towards the end off the season there was no entertainment but this was no problem - sat in the bar beside the pool and sampled a few drinks! Went by bus into Kos town but did not stay long, bit touristy! Will definitely consider returning next year.
None of us could find anything to criticise - well done to the Management.

Disappointing hotel staff spoilt the holiday
Made to stay in a ground floor room with a patio door that didn't lock, we we're told that we could move rooms because hotel was full, not true. Receptionist v unhelpful and abrupt. The rep had no time for guests. The staff at the pool bar were rude. Not enough sun loungers, the staff made this holiday a chore rather than a break!

Pelagos Suites Hotel in Lambi.
My husband and i along with my sister, her husband and their son returned from a 2 week holiday at the Pelagos Suites on 4th Oct 2012. The grounds of the hotel are really lovely and spotlessly cleaned every morning. The pools are fabulous to and we never had to fight for a sunbed.
Our room 315 was a bit dark as it was under the stairs and there was black damp on the tiles in the bathroom although the room was cleaned every day. Most evenings i would return to find my pyjamas layed out in numerous shapes which was a lovely touch. The rooms are NOT as advertised in the brochure. The hairdryer blew up on me but was replaced when i reported it to reception. Every one of the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The bar staff are really great as were the animation team although their acts were a bit naff. They work really hard though to be fair.
The food was really nice although it was very repetitive with the same meals day after day cooked in a different way. The town of Kos is only a short bus ride away and the bus stop is directly outside the hotel. Cost was €1.20 each way per person.
Even though we had a few gripes we really enjoyed our holiday and would certainly go back there but would upgrade to the refurbished rooms.

We just wanted a week the sun to relax, this hotel delivered! Great grounds, pools and set out.
Location is a bit isolated but Lambi and Kos easily accessible.
Excellent Greek food on the menu with plenty of choice for all meals.
The day bar staff was not very friendly especially to all inclusive guests. All other staff very helpful and polite.
Would definitely recommend this hotel for a holiday of quiet relaxation and chilling out!

Good facilities in brilliant September sunshine
Well positioned , modern hotel which is still developing. Buffet dining in pleasant dining room, but food moderate as very repetitive. There is a la carte, but full charge made after one free meal there. Lovely pools and sunbathing areas.
The flight, whilst being on time both ways, was very uncomfortable. Boeing 757, but no seat room for even an average person, and I am above average, at 6ft and 16 stone +.
All inclusive value doubtful, as spirits not nice. Table wines fine.

Great family holiday at the Pelagos suites, Kos.
The hotel was beautiful and the grounds were lovely. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly, anything you wanted was never to much trouble for them.
We stayed there in september which was coming up to the end of the season so the hotel was reasonable quite which was great, because it meant we could always find a sunbed.
The reception staff are very helpful and always had a smile on their face.
The pool bar staff were brilliant.
The animation team were ok but there was only three of them so they did their best.
The restaurant staff were great as soon as you sat down one of them would come to your table and take your drinks order and ask for your room number, we found out the reason for asking for your room number was if you were stayimg on self catering things would be charged to your room. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The al a carte restaurant staff were very polite and food was nice.
The shop onsite by the pool bar was ok but it was more expensive than the shop just outside the hotel.
Overall a good holiday.
