stayed at the corfu palace the last week in september, the hotel is classed as a 5 star but it is more like a 4 star. Staff really helpful, hotel clean and public areas well looked after , however the rooms could do with getting upgraded , prices in the hotel on the dear side i.e. bottle of coke 5 euros. , on the web site it states that it is only a 5 minute walk to the old town which it is however you have to go up a rather steep incline this could be to much for some people with mobility issues , overall I would recommend this hotel and holiday

hotel great thomas cook lousy
the hotel i will go back to but i will not travel with thomas cook as a single traveler t/c did nothing to help, the company would do well to revise their loan traveler ethics they forgot to pick me up after being told to wait outside the hotel at 1:40am on my own i waited an hour the hotel receptionist had to phone the rep. they then sent a hole empety coach just to pick me up and having booked and payed extra for my seat out and back i found it discusting the it was also sold to someone else and i was then quized as to weather i had proff of sale and made to feal most uncomfortable my advise to you would be get rid of reps they dont do anything any way and concentrate on the organiational skills you need to look after the people that put their safety in your hands

we stayed at the corfu mare hotel. excellent hotel but brochure said no distance to town. It was way of beat. There was dogs barking all night which was really annoying and cockerels crowing as well. I would love to go back to the hotel but not in the area it was in. Far to far away from restaurants etc. Dogs really need to be an issue for anybody staying at hotel.

We stopped at "the Coufu Palace Hotel" perfect to spend time in the town's wonderful pedestrianised shopping areas. From taking off to landing back at veast Midland the service and level of helpfulness were better than first class. Thank you THomas Cook for a superb holiday.
