Went to Eygpt for the first time this October and although I had read some previous reviews, was trying to keep an open mind. Would 100% reccomend this hotel to anyo
ne, especially those with kids. It was clean, tidy, staff were friendly, food was lovely, except for the snack bar there was not a chip in sight in any of the restaurants!. The aquapark was fantastic and I hardly seen my two kids (10 and 8). Our room was huge overlooking the aquapark, the cleaner was in everyday with fresh towels shaped into animals. The beach was lovely and the snorkling was fab. The whole experience was amazing. We tipped the barman, cleaner and poolman on arrival (a fiver each) as advised by some other english holiday makers and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted. We had sunbeds every morning and did not have to queue for drinks - this went on for the whole two weeks we were there. Please note that not once were we asked for a tip or harrassed by staff wanting tips. The themed restaurants were all brilliant. Overall the best holiday ever, in fact we are now looking to go back next year because after looking through next years brochures we cannot see any other hotel etc which matches up to what we got this year.

we have stayed in Sharm twice before and can honestly say that this was not as good as the previous resorts we had. The food was poor, the pools were good but the su
rrounding areas were starting to need attention with broken paving etc. There was a lot of building noise and the beach was a building site by another name. Sadly not quite what we were expecting compared to previous visits to the area. However the staff were all very friendly despte having to put upwith a lot of very rude russians that over ran the resort!

I have just come back from Sun Rise Tirana Aqua Park and had an amazing time loved it and I would definatly go back.
The hotel is very clean the rooms are cleaned ev
eryday and you are left with 4 bottles of water every day and we did tip the cleaner a couple quid every now and again and he used to leave a few extra waters and did some amazing things with the towels which the kids loved.
We spent most of our day around by the kids pool the staff were very good with the kids and once you get to know them they were brilliant very funny. The water kids were okay but after 2 weeks of them you do get a little bored. One tip I would definatly recommend is take any lilows or rings with you from England you will save yourself a small fortune.
Kids club was great my lad loved it !!!!!! and the entertainment at night i thought was good you need to get involved and just enjoy it i was capped Mr sunrise lol. beach party is a definat lots of foam and fun.
The food is they only thing that lets the hotel down it seems to taste the same no matter what you eat. There is 5 restuarants that you can book for which are free and quiet nice. brilliant holiday!!!

I travelled on my own to meet my partner and 2 children 9 and 16. The airplane journey was poor. There was no entertainment such as a film or any radio channels.
The
hotel is quite close to the airport so you will be over the flight path but its not bad at all.
The hotel is very clean, Sammy who was in charge of my floor and my room was excellent. I would say its one of the best beds i have slept in and also the pillows were good for an all inclusive.
The pools are great and well looked after. The pool attendants were fantastic, making sure you have a bed and plenty of towels.
The let down is the food and drink. Small plastic glasses and relly bad in the ampitheatre at night its even worse as if your drinking larger you will get half a glass of froth.
The food in the main buffet restaurant is very hit and miss, probably the poorest i have been too. The asian and chineese restaurant are excellent the food, drink and service there are all very good.
The animation team were poor as were the shows at night.
The waterpark slides were ok but there was not enough rings or mats and people were allowed to keep them instead of letting other people have a go.
We as a group went quad biking in the desert, this is great and a must. We booked trhrough a local person and it was ideal and much cheaper than going through the hotel.

The holiday got of to a poor start with a 6 hour delay and continued in the same way.The Sunrise Tirana Aquapark was a letdown despite rave reviews. The hotel was cle
an enough with the pool area and room being fine. The main issues was the food which was of a really poor standard served in a shambolic restaurant poorly laid out, people wandering round in search of a decent meal.
The animation team wasnt much better with the evening entertainment,if you could call it that, being poor.
Its a pitty because with a better managment in place the hotel could be so much better.

the overall holiday was excellent, brilliant weather and my son loved using the water slides everydayl. Not much to suit us with the evening entertainment although t
he staff tried hard to get everyone involved. Staff all very helpful and friendly in the hotel.
The restaurant was fine to start with until it got busier and then you had to queue for every part of your meal which meant that when you sat down to eat it most of it was cold. Also had to go on the hunt a few times for cutlery and had to queue for drinks as the waiters were too busy. Would go back to the hotel but would budget to eat out more which shouldnt be a requirement on all inclusive.
Was disappointed with Thomas Cook changing our direct glasgow/egypt flight to go via Gatwick both ways.

the hotel was nice but some areas could have been cleaner the toilets used by all were disgusting i think they were only clean once so as a result we used the ones i
n reception which were cleansed on and off all day. the room was nice it was the best 2 weeks sleep I've ever had on holiday!! the food was not to my taste as i don't eat a lot of meat but the bread was fabulous the coffee was weak which was disappointing.
all the pools were clean but the wave pool wasn't working which was a bit disappointing, we never had to fight for a sun bed. the staff were very friendly we gave tips but they didn't seem to expect it but i would say to you that remember they don't earn that much!! we spent about £100 in tips over 2 weeks so thats not much and our service was excellent. the hotel was quiet at night which was great (no night clubs). i would also say the only other problem is the sales people that go round the pools trying to get you to have hair and beauty treatments and the diving guys they are constant. over all we had a good time and we would go back to the area again but we would try another resort only because its a change.

The hotel was only 30% full which meant plenty of sunbeds etc but most of the a la carte restaurants were closed. The service was excellent throughout and hotel was
very clean. Aqua park was fantastic again flumes were open on a rotation system and the wave pool wasn't open at anytime
The entertainment was extremely poor. The beach was also very uninteresting. spa was very good.

Overall this holiday was enjoyable and relaxing. The hotel was very quiet at 25% capacity due to the recent unrest in Egypt. This for me was a plus as there was no s
tampede for dinner or early rises to bag a sunlounger unlike at the Tropicana Club Azure last August. The room was comfortable and relatively clean although the cleanliness of the grout on the bathroom tiles left a lot to be desired. Towels were changed everyday, not sure about the linen, difficult to say when beds made up for you daily with sculptures left on the bed, nice touch! I celebrated my birthday whilst on holiday and the lifeguard and towel people made me a birthday cake made of beach towels and flowers. The hotel also brought a birthday cake to my room which was a nice touch. Food definitely not the best. Only the Italian al la carte restaurant was open due to the number of guests so the food options weren't as varied. I felt the food at last summers hotel was of a higher standard. Struggled to find something to eat on some nights. Had a KFC and steak dinner at The 3 Crowns which was awesome!

Upon arriving at Manchester Airport we soon learnt our flight was going to be delayed.I then approached Thomas Cook customer services and i asked them why there was
a delay, only to find them very unhelpful and quite rude in not explaining themselves to my questions.4 hours later we took off to Egypt and arrived at sunrise tirana aquapark. The hotel was great and highly recommendable to anyone esp with children.Food was ok and the general resort complex was very big and attractive. The animation nationals were a bit rude to my 4 year old daughter one night and we had to explain to them this is not acceptable and we shall be speaking to the manager.Beach is handy located and everything is free down there inc food and drink and beds. The nightlife at the hotel and entertainment leaves a lot to be desired and needs immediately improving, but i really enjoyed my stay there and with a few little extra improvements i would return there for a week/10 days and im sure amyone who stays there will speak positive of it..enjoy your stay all.

Myself and my partner Nick went to this Hotel End of Feb 11 - The weather was lovely - not too hot but hot enough to come back with a lovely tan. The snorkeling was
amazing however because of the trouble in Cario it did affect the tourism in Sharm so for a younger couple like us did affect the night life - however we still had a good time in the hotel. The water park and slides were really good but the food wasnt our cup of tea - but all in all with the excursions we had a great time. Im sure if we went back again it would be alot more lively.

Just back from a fantastic time is Sunrise Tirana Aquapark. I was with my mum ( 61 ) , my daughter ( 8 ) and myself ( 37 ). I have never enjoyed a holiday so much, m
y daughter was crying leaving the place. We were only there for a week which wasn,t long enough. Since coming home , i,ve booked to go back again in December for a fortnight.
Everything was perfect , the hotel, the facilities but what really stood out was the remarkable staff. They were the most helpful, charming staff i,ve ever come across. Nothing was too much trouble. We tipped the staff a couple of dollars here and there but they were all great whether they got tipped or not.
The animation team were fantastic too, especially Mady and Nemo. Brilliantly entertaining without being too pushy, they comforted my daughter who was inconsolable about leaving. Truely brilliant.

We were in a very quiet and dark area of this huge hotel. The hotel was not at full capacity and the sun beds at the children's pool were all taken by 0800. The food
was the same every night, just presented in a different way. The staff are constantly trying to push overpriced products onto you - beauty treatments, scuba diving etc. These are all minor things though.
However, less than a week in to our holiday, it was ruined. We were in our room when a man came to our room door saying he was housekeeping to check the air conditioning. We thought nothing of it and we soon discovered after he had left that he had stolen all of our money along with electrical items. We were obviously distraught, the managers reaction was to search our room!!!! He also asked if the man had an English accent. His attitude towards us was disgusting. We asked if the hotel was secure. We were told that the only entry/exit point of the hotel was the front entrance. Actually, that is true if you count a 3 foot wall as secure!!! We were also told that crime was not an issue in this hotel. In actual fact, on speaking to other guests, many guests were victims of crime in this hotel. Room doors being kicked in, items of clothing going missing from rooms and phones going missing from the dining table. A father also witnessed his son being assaulted by another adult guest.
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL.

FANTASTIC FAMILY HOLIDAY. SUPERB HOTEL COMPLEX FOR FAMILIES WITH EXCELLENT POOLS AND SLIDES FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES.
Date of review:1 Oct 2010
I went to this hotel and resort with my sister, my 14 yr old daughter and her friend. We totally enjoyed the whole holiday experience, the hotel and staff were brill
iant, so vast and plenty of room for everyone as there are so many pools spread out. They have pools that are designated quiet areas or were its all going on, so you have the choice its great. The children from very young to very old Ha Ha are well catered for also. Our rep was very approachable and was a local which was great. Myself and my daughter are going back in April 2012 to the same resort we cant wait, the only downside is the main dining area is a bit confusing and caotic, I think if you have a basic dinner card given to you on arrival, this can be put on your dining table, so you can all leave the table to go and get your meal knowing it is obvious your table is now in use. I have been to other resorts that use this method and it worked very well. Other than that we cant fault it and plenty of excursions on offer, and the prices were very impresive compared to other resorts visited. I would advise this place is well worth a visit whoever you are.

If you have young children and are looking for a resort for the kids to have fun, then the Sunrise Aqua Park ticks all the boxes. Lots of different of pools, kids po
ol, slide pool, relaxing pool, water-sport pool, wave pool etc..etc. Good entertainment for every night of the week, lots and lots of fun. Our room quality was of a very high standard, with 550 rooms, the hotel manages well to keep all areas clean and sanities. The entertainment team, known as animation team did their best to keep the guests entertained. Staffs are very friendly. The only one issue was the quality of food, don’t get me wrong, the food was plentiful but there was no taste, everything tasted like water even though they used good ingredients. In my opinion, the kitchen staff lacked cooking knowledge, there was key ingredients missing which was why everything taste very bland and boring. We had a fantastic one week at the Sunrise Aqua Park, though I think if I had to eat the food one more day, serious depression would have kicked in. Oh and guaranteed, the alcoholic drinks, though free, but will not make, so you may want to stock up with some duty free drinks on the plain before you get there. All and all, we will consider the Sunrise Aqua Park for our future holiday destination again.

The hotel was good overall however when occupancy was high the dining room is totally inadequate to cope. Only two toasters and two coffee machinesfor over 1200 gues
ts! The first two days there was waiter service for tea/coffee or drinks then this stopped and resumed for drinks only during lunch and evening meals. The alternative to the main dining atrea during the day only served a variety of food which consisted of burger/chips or chips/burgers and later on during the week introduced a salad! The pool staff would put towels out for guests (for money) and I witnessed a lifeguard telling a guest that a sun bed was reserved and that they could not use it! Excuse me but I find that totally inappropriate behaviour for a member of staff.
On the plus side the pool and sorrounds were very well maintained with the water kept extremely well for the amount of users. Every day the areas werte cleaned thoroughly and left uniform.
The entertainment was very poor for adults during the evening but staff catered well for children's activities throughout. The pool party night was poorly managed and a few accidents occurred on both weeks.
The beach shuttle bus was frequent and the beach staff were excellent as was the beach area. I would have thought that the hotel would provide a shuttle bus to Naama bay but they instead offered a limo service or shuttle bus that had to be paid for! Most hotels in Nabq bay provide this servioce free of charge!
Overall I would say that our exprience was okay but I am afraid that my wife and daughter would not go there again for all of the reasons stated above.

We went to Sunrise Tirana Aqua Park on 29th August-13th September. The weather was lovely, the flight was very good. When we arrived at the Hotel and taken to our ro
om we were really happy, the rooms were lovely, with flat screen TV's a lovely bathroom and comfortable beds, also there is a fridge and safety deposit box (which is free of charge). The only thing is i really wished i had taken my travel kettle with me, as it was quite a walk to the restaurant to get a drink first thing.
The pools and surrounding areas were clean, and it was nice not having to take towls to pool and beach as they are supplied.
The shuttle to the beach were every 15 mins. The beach has very shallow water, with coral, good for kids to snorkel in as there are plenty of fish to see, but make sure you take beach shoes.
The meals were good most of the time, although it is spread out a bit, so your food may get cold having to walk around to get what you want. The only cold drink really is served when the bars first open at 10 am because they have been in fridge, the bar tenders tend to leave the drinks out of the fridges, so warm drinks are the norm. Their cocktails are not cocktails, they are normally rum with orange, 7up,fanta or coke. They only serve Rum, Vodka, Gin. There are no other spirits. The beer is nice though. Take plenty of imodium as i got through 3 packets, don't think i was the only one either. It's a good time to go apart from the last 3 days as it was the end of Ramadam, then the hotel filled up with Egyptians, which were very noisy, rude and messy.
The Hotel really stands by itself, there is not a lot to do, so if you want a relaxing holiday its brilliant. Word of warning, don't buy chocolate or snacks from the shop in hotel, they rip you of, we bought 3 packets of crisps, 2 chocolate bars 1 can of coke 2 milk drinks and 1 carton orange juice and it cost £33. Apart from that we had a good time.

On arriving at this hotel first impressions were fantastic but it soon went down hill fast. The reception staff checked us in promptly and the concierge showed us to
our rooms, within10 minutes our cases arrived. as we arrived late we had a quick drink and grabbed snack from the pool snack bar which was on every night from 11.30 - 1.00. The next day we went for breakfast whiched seemed fineexcept for the fact that there was only 2 small drinks machine in the entire restaurant which frequently broke down. We ventured up to the childrens pool on the first day which was very enjoyable for the little ones.As we had had a late breakfast we decided to miss lunch (which was actually a good idea going on further visits). At dinner time we went down to the restaurant and eventually got a table after traipsing up and down several times and food wasn't too bad as we thought until the next night when the same food was there just cooked a different way. I tried the live cooking area which was basically a guy with a chefs hat on putting pasta or spaghetti (that had been previously cooked and left to go cold) into hot water to warm it adding sauce to a frying pan then mixing it together before slopping it on to your plate. The kids corner wasn't much better every night there was a choice of 4 dishes for the little ones :- meatballs, chips, pasta in sauce and fish.Great choice. We opted to miss lunch a couple of days into the holiday and go to the Pool Snack Bar and soon discovered that you had a choice of Burger and Chips or Chips and Burger maybe getting the odd hotdog but only if they had run out of burgers.
It soon became apparent that the hotel was heavily understaffed and had no where near enough, glasses, cutlery, tables etc for when they had 100% occupancy. It's not good when you have to wait 30-45 mins for a table for dinner and then another20 mins for someone to clear the dirty plates and a further 10-15 mins for it to be reset for you despite asking several waiters on several occasions to do it, then when you go the the drinks counter they tell you they have no glasses.
Pool/towel center boys are taking tips left right and centre off people to reserve sunbeds, my husband was having to get up at 6 in the morning in order to get our sunbeds because i refused to give them a tip before i had received a service from them, and this goes for a lot of the staff in the hotel including waiters drinks waiters etc. You tip them first and they will bend over backwards for you otherwise they are rude and arrogant.
Not once was the poolside swept or washed down, drains were blocked around the pool and nobody seems bothered, they had your money and theres not much you can do once your there.
Having paid a lot of money for this holiday i was not prepared to pay again just to get the best service.
If it wasn't for the fact the sun was shining and it was very hot i think i might have cried.

this holiday was to be our last as a family with our children being old enough to go abroad themselves so we thought we had paid a very large amount of money to get
the best hotel and resort. what we actually found was a new hotel that was poorly managed with visible disrepair around the facility. we had two rooms together one of which was very nice and the other very basic and clearly finished in a hurry, it had broken lights, the patio door handle fell off and the bathroom and hallway ceilings were falling apart. The pools were enjoyable to use but beware that the sides are sloping making it impossible to get out other than the steps leading in to them. the pool slopes are made up of an abrasive material and if you catch them you will cut your self. in places some of these sloping slabs were missing making those parts of the pools dangerous. The food was adequate but it was the same at every meal time and we soon got very bored of it. I was surprised at how many people ordered food in from the local McDonalds that delivered free of charge 22 hours a day. The restaurant itself was chaos with people clambering for tables and then having to queue at each individual counter to get each part of your meal, for instance if you wanted chips you would queue at one end of the restaurant before moving to the main counter in the middle of the restaurant to get hot meat and vegetables this meant that your meal was cold or almost cold by the time you sat down. I am led to believe that the evening entertainment in Egypt is quite basic but here its almost none existent and usually on while you are eating your evening meal so it is missed anyway. I have never seen so many people on an evening playing cards to pass away the evening. There were two small bars open on an evening but they closed completely at midnight basically ending the night. The alcoholic drinks are local only with no named drinks that are better quality. The bar staff would make a cocktail but it would be different every time you asked for it de to lack of knowledge. The staff on the whole were helpful but this was mostly the case if they were supplemented with tips, if not you can expect the service you did get to reduce dramatically. This review does not appear to paint a particularly good picture however, as a place to relax the day away in the sun it proved very good and the water park was enjoyable for all ages but just beware of the steps up to the slides which are similar to the pool sides and can scrape your feet and shins if you slip. The resort is certainly not a 4 or even a 5 star resort and in my opinion would be somewhere between a 2 and a 3 star. I will leave you with the view of a fellow holiday maker at this resort "Don’t let this hotel put you off staying at sunrise hotels as all of the others do everything for you except wipe your bum" in reference to the service of the staff. I would certainly go to Egypt again but I would not visit this hotel again.

Just had a fab 2 weeks here and there was something for everyone at this hotel. Busy pool where families could hang out and great animation team to keep the kids hap
py aswell as pool games for the adults. 3 other quieter pools where you could just chill and relax as the pool guys ferried drinks to whoever asked. Nothing too much trouble for any of the staff, all so friendly but not pushy !! Room was very comfy and giant king size bed, lovely bathroom with walk in shower and all towels and linens changed every day and very clean. Food was great, really good choice and not too much put out at one time so it was standing around uneaten. Restaurant staff were so helpful and friendly and you only had to ask and they would sort it. Beautiful reception area with wonderful pianist/violin player in the evenings for the more discerning. Amphitheatre on other side of site with other entertainment - dancing shows and kids could join in some things if you wanted something livlier.
The hotel was at the very end of Nabq Bay so not much around the actual site but only cheap to go into local town where there was a McDonalds and lots of good places to eat if you wanted a change from the all inclusive meals. For just a bit more you can go into Naama Bay and is very lively and interesting. The hotel did have a shuttle bus in the evenings to go into Naama for a few hours for shopping.
Courtesy bus every half hour to the beach, which was just over the road ,but very hot at the moment so most people used the bus!! Private beach just for hotel so nice and quiet and had beach bar and snack bar there for lunch - toilets nice and clean.
Can honestly say could not really find much fault , except quite a big hotel so at meal times a bit noisy and busy but good atmosphere and everyone queued politely !
Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting good value for money as we never spent a thing except for the trips out. Very relaxing but stuff to do if you wanted to get out and about.Only had one little go in the Aqua Park bit ,as bit long in the tooth now, but the kids seemed to really enjoy it and loads of pool patrol people keeping an eye on everyone. All in all a really enjoyable holiday and even the airport was very organised and not much hanging about either arriving or departing.

This hotell is excellent for all age groups from infants to grans my grandchildren had a fantastic time ,the Animation team work hard to make your holiday memorable
and are so friendly ,as are the guys at the pool bar especially Brian they are fantastic by simply giving thses guys a tip you do not need to leave your lounger to get a drink and soooo friendly as are the guys at towel point ,we had a good team in the dinning room who again tip these guys and your drinks are on the table waiting for you and fresh drinks appear without asking for them nothing is a problem to them you have to try the beach and the Flumes as I said above something for everyone we have been to Egypt 10 times and I have to say this is one of the most friendliest family hotels we have stayed in Egypt ,please remember Egypian entertainment is not what you would get in Europe BUT THE PEOPLE are Great.
Food you will not starve my son in law is very fussy but he managed to eat every night withou a moan plus you have McDonalds who will deliver to hotel and KFC.
My only comment on Hotel is that they should pay more attention to glasses & plates as we had to return a few which were chipped at the edges if not noticed could have cut your mouth plus it is un hygenic my only comment.

As soon as I stepped of the coach and looked at this hotel, I was in shock, it was absolutely beautiful!!!!
The room was huge and every room also had a balcony you h
ave a built in hairdryer and a mini fridge, each morning you recieve two bottkes of water free of chargeto brush your teeth with etc. Our cleaner was brilliant making animals out of towels! each day we would come back to a new one! We had an elephant, a human, a flower and a love heart to name but a few. One of the pitfalls of this hotel was the food, the meats all tended to be a bit on the fatty side but having said that there was ALWAYS something you could eat. There was a slight problem with cutlery sometimes having to steal them from other tables. The staff at the hotel selling the spa facilities and the scuba diving were a little full on, but as soon as you got a red flag to hang by your sun llounger they left you alone. ! I did however whilst waitying for the coach to the airport drop my sunglasses, by the time I had turned around a member of staff had picked them up and walked off with them, as I was on the way home I decided not to persue it. ALl in All I would 100% reccomend this holiday to all people, famiulies with young children were mingling with couples like myself as well as mature couples. Three words sum up my experience.....Completely Worth It!!!

We found this to be one of the cheapest deals so we booked online. Firstly we were very impressed by THOMAS COOK and also Thomas Cook Airlines. We found the planes t
o have more room in standard seats than other airlines - we did not have in-flight-meals.
TRANSFER TIME was short hotel is very near... Yes it is in flight path so there will be aeroplanes coming in and out above hotel. This did not disturb us at all.
HOTEL DRIVEWAY AND RECEPTION were very attractive we were instantly amazed. The hotel building consists of much marble. We experienced a pleasant and quick check-in.
We were shown to our HOTEL ROOM and we couldn’t of asked for better all the facilities one would require and more; complimentary lotions and potions, walk-in shower, big balcony with table and chairs, TV with some English channels, Curtains with a blackout Curtain and nets - each could be used separately, hairdryer in bathroom as standard.
Complementary bottle of water each everyday in the fridge (fridge worked well)
The ROOM CLEANERS were excellent - friendly, trustworthy with our belongings, never short of clean towels or toilet rolls.
Now one of the most important parts of a hotel - THE FOOD - Fantastic, fresh, plenty of variety to cater for all tastes.
The only meals we found disappointing was the Italian - However we did try the Lebanese restaurant and the food here was fantastic as was the service.
We found all of the RESTUARNTS to be of high cleanliness.
In the buffet restaurant we were looked after by Alaa (there are 2 supervisors called Alaa) our Alaa really was super and we grew quite attached to him. Alaa was truly wonderful, very polite; spoke great English (WE DIDNT TIP at all despite our intentions to on the last day which is shockingly bad of us. We were never asked to tip either)
The guys at the POOL BAR were fantastic Moataz, Eslam, & Radig - they really looked after us all week and were a great pleasure to be around, always made sure we had drinks of our choice.
Towel guys around the pool did fantastic job, noting where we liked to sit, leading us to our sunbed and putting the towels out for us (again we never tipped)
A nice change for a hotel in Egypt was that as we were taking my boyfriends 19 yr old daughter we were expecting her to get alot of hassle - however the staff in the hotel were RESPECTFUL and even though this was her first time abroad we always felt her to be safe.
Also we went for a MASSAGE and SPA- only women were allowed to massage women and only men were allowed to massage men.
This hotel has it so right ... We really would recommend it &we look forward to returning soon with more of the family.
The only thing that maybe lets the hotel down is lack of ENTERTAINMENT. It was nice just to have dinner then a couple of drinks and a chat. We did go out a couple of nights: HOTEL LIMOSENE SERVICE which was excellent.
Nearby Supermarket-we walked to (not close enough for people with limited mobility though).

Let me begin by congratulating the Hotel & staff for a fabulous hotel. Its ammenities were second to none. The service was rapid and helpful. The numerous slides at t
he attatched Aqua Park were extremely good fun. A good quality hotel with well above average accommodation. The pools were fantastic and sunbeds were freely available at any time of the day.
A very relaxing holiday .
The only down point for this resort was its main restaurant. If you were not `in the queue` by 10 mins after opening then you were extremely lucky to be able to get a table, find a glass or find a cup. We as a family decided to eat from the snack bar at the pool and to avoid the main restaurant as it was far quieter and far less hassle.
Overall a good hotel that needs more restaurant space.

we had a great holiday, the resort was good, there was lots of spaces ad the pools and slides were great fun, the staff very friendly and helpful, and lovely to the
kids, the room was also very nice. The main problem was the truly awful food and drink and the hotel needs to seriously improve the standard in this area.

This was the best family holidy we have ever had, we are booked to go again with Tomas Cook this October. The on site water park was so good that we hardly saw our d
aughter, till she wanted fed, then she went to the snack bar herself,, evening meal we sat together to catch up and then she was gone again, off with her new friends, leaving us to sit watch the sun go down into the egyption montains, have a few drinks, then return to our VERY large comfy bed. The weather never dipped below 33, there were heated pools and cool pools. The food was good, the drink flowed, the pool attendance were very attentive. All round, relaxing fun.

we holidayed at the sunrise tirana aqua park in march 2010 the weather was great and so was the hotel and the staff but the food and drinks were terrible .I like vod
ka but i have never smelt vodka like that in all the years i have drank it .There was no variation of meals and what they had was tasteless they seem to concerntrate more on sweets then anything else .We ended up going into naamba bay for some decent food .I told the rep and she said they were trying to get things right I hope they do because it is such a lovely hotel .

I will be returning again next year as the hotel was very clean and the food was good, but the best thing was the pools the kids pool was excellent with lots of slid
es and only 45 cm deep i have a 3 yr old and a 5 yr old and i could not get them out. I enjoyed the slides as it gives you a break from sunbathing the pools are heated which was nice. The evening entertainment consist of a 1 hr kids disco and a show. I would not leave my children in the kids club as it seems nobody really watches the children so i sat with them whilst they played. All staff are very friendly, if you do not want to be bothered in the day you can get a red flag to put on your bed and relax.

We spent a week here in November 09. We had 3 children 4,8 and 12 and had a great time! The hotel is lovely , clean and as its new it is very clean with no areas of
concern. The aqua park is brilliant and the children loved the whole place, they spent endless parts of their days on the slides and wave pool. The food was excellent with a great choice at every meal time. They were building a pizza oven and bar b q area outside whilst we were there. The bar service was slow, however they were working on this while we were there and it did improve. The waiters bring round drinks trolleys at dinner and this is the quickest way to be served, they also will look after you and remember you for just a small tip, which we would say to do on 1st or 2nd day! Overall a great holiday and would definitely return, the hotel is going to be very popular next year and highly recommend you book early to avoid disappointemnt!!!

We were looking forward to our first holiday to Egypt, we read reviews, some good some bad but went with an open mind! On arrival to the hotel which was approx 20-30
mins away from the airport (which was very good) the hotel look very nice. It was big and the lobby appeared to be a lobby from a 5* hotel. The staff were slow at checking in but were helpful. We were given a tour of the hotel, which was useful!
Our room was very modern/spacious and clean (although i did notice the bed linen wasnt changed daily). There was a mini bar which was replenished daily with water only.
The pool area was clean although noone ever went in the water as it was freezing!!! also young men were selling magazines/book which had been left by previous holiday makers for a high price. There are a number of pools and plenty of sunloungers so no need to get up early to reserve one.
The restaurant was big and had plenty of choice. I do feel as though in Nov 09 the hotel wasnt completely finished as there was no food that would appeal to children. Breakfast was good and chefs made omelettes to order, although the cue was HUGE! also the coffee from the machines were cold, and only if your tip was big enough then you would get hot coffee.
The Bar- the one and only bar on a evening is the lobby bar. terrible service and huge cues again. The drinks are served in tiny glasses all chipped (so beware) like i already said if your tip was big enough then u would get a big glass. (make sure you get a few drinks at once).
the hotel taxi service was Brilliant.... best part of hotel.. Kamel took us to the shops and came back for us at a set time. this was very good and not very expensive!
I feel personally the hotel was lacking management, during my last few days, managers were brought to work and the whole holiday changed. the service was amazing, hope they have kept it up!!!! Weather and the beach was amazing though so was worth it!

worst holliday i have had, the only good points about the hotel was the rooms and the staff worked extremley hard but not enough staff! the food was terrible and lik
e a cattle mart they had one toaster no tables left ,i had a bug along with the rest of the people i was with and they only tell you about it once you arrive! the aqua park policy is get a ring and go down the slides but there are no rings left as people keep hold of them for the day! they have no entertainment on a night and if they do its situated to the rear of the hotel with no bar, the disco is at there sister hotel and you have to pay for drinks after twelve! you have to be up really early if you want a sun lounger. don,t buy any thing from shops in hotel as its alot more expensive and they don't do refunds on jewllery that does'nt last 5 minutes. hotel is situated 15 mins from namba bay and the taxi drivers have no road sence or care for the safety of there passengers!

Only go to this hotel in low season. We only selected this hotel because of the brilliant reviews on trip advisor but then there wasn't too many people at the resort
then so they had enough sunbeds, brollies, glasses and staff to make their holiday special. When we went there were over a thousand people there and the facilities were very insufficient. The first week there were literally sunbed wars until more arrived, nowhere near enough brollies (everyone needs some shade during the day). At night there is only one bar and the staff are so overstreetched they even ran out of glasses most nights, beer and cocktails certainly shouldn't be in plastic glasses which you have to queue for. We made an official complaint but as yet have heard nothing regarding this so am not impressed with Thomas Cook at all. We were definately not the only people to complain and this was definately not a 4* accommodation although on the plus side the rooms were really nice, clean and well kept.
