Great Holiday in Sharm El Sheikh
Really enjoyable holiday, may have had advantage of quiet time due to several nationalities not travelling due to current political situation, their loss our gain.
Food & menu had been adapted to more English style than usual & very enjoyable it was.
Staff in general not as friendly as previous experiences in Egypt, but exceptions to this from a few more than made up for majority.
Room & general site were well maintained & very clean.

Amazing first holiday as a couple!
Dreams Beach Resort in Sharm el Sheikh was absolutely amazing! We could not criticize anything! Great pools, outstanding snorkelling chances off the jetty seeing so many colourful fish, lovely food and most of all the most hardworking and helpful staff of anywhere I have ever been!! Nothing was too much trouble for them, including regularly bringing drinks round to you whilst you sunbathe by the pool!
There was a variety of trips available; we rode camels, quad biked across the desert, snorkelled and went on a submarine boat, as well as experiencing the market in Naama Bay.
Would DEFINITELY recommend this area and hotel to anyone! Fantastic holiday.

Great for relaxing
We did enjoy this holiday, although the political climate in Egypt at the moment meant that the majority of the day trips were cancelled & the Egyptian government imposed a curfew on tourists from 7pm to 6am while we were there, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel was very spacious, but well under capacity when we were there as the UK & Russia were the only countries still sending tourists to Egypt. The main buffet restaurant served good quality food and there was always something for everyone. Breakfasts & lunches were better than dinners, so we used the a la carte restaurants most nights. The Grillhouse served a choice of meat or fish (type changed daily) from the barbeque and La Pergola Italian style restaurant served meat, chicken or fish (again type changed daily). There was also a fish restaurant, but as it wasn't included in the all inclusive package we didn't use it. You can also eat at the Indian, Chinese or Mexican restaurants at the Dreams Vacation Hotel next door, but again there is a charge for this. The staff in all the restaurants, at the bars & domestic staff were all exceptionally friendly and would do anything for you. The layout of the beach areas was great as there were many semi-private areas rather than one long stretch of sun loungers. The pool areas were very clean. The Butterfly Spa provide various massage / treatment options- haggle and the price drops rapidly! In the evenings there was a singer in the outdoor Oasis Café area, a pianist played in the Lobby Bar and the entertainment team tried their best in the Roman style theatre (outdoors) This would be a great holiday for you if you want to have total relaxation, but I wouldn't say it would be good for children or if you wanted to go out and about as there wasn't much close to the hotel

Would not return to this hotel
Good food and friendly staff.
Unfortunately the cleanliness of the buffet restaurant, toilets, rooms, pool areas, basically the whole complex let it down so would not return.
Rooms were dated and bathrooms dirty.
Evening entertainment was terrible.
Could not relax around the pool areas as we were constantly pestered by staff asking us to go on trips, have treatments and to visit restaurants that were not inclusive.

Dreams Beach Resort Egypt
I picked the Dreams Beach Resort in Egypt because it offered a variety of facilities for a range of ages, I was not disappointed. I usually travel alone but on this occasion I was accompanied by my 15 year old gradson. Staff were very attentive and friendly and we certainly felt looked after. I would not go to this hotel alone but for families and couples of all ages its great.

Third stay at this hotel
This is our third stay at this hotel and we love the location, if we go next year though i think we will give the Vacation next door a try, just really because Dreams Beach the only place to go in the evening for a drink is the bar in reception and the smoke hits you as you walk in, it is a pity they don't do a outside terrace like they have next door as this really does let the place down for us and really is why i doubt we will stay here again.

Holiday in Red Sea
The dreams beach resort was not the best holiday for us. My partner was very ill from the food with a stomach bug. Also the brochure advertised a swim up bar however this was not working and was a building site on our visit. Although we did not go with young children the brochure had also advertised children's facilities however that consisted of a shut down mini golf and a trampoline which was out of order and frankly was a health and safety risk. The weather was brilliant and our Thomas rep was very accommodating and would definitely recommended going out on the social night with the reps good fun for all ages.
