You'll be thrilled from at this gem of an aquapark basking in the tropical Egyptian sunshine. Whether it's flying down the Freefall slide, whirling through the Twister, screaming into the Black Hole or just splashing about in the wave pool, this place is a non-stop aquatic delight. And while the kids are in 14-slide heaven, there's plenty more for anyone who likes their fun a little less hectic. The Tirana has another two large pools to relax around with a cooling drink, as well as a stretch of private beach nearby on the azure coastline, perfect for snorkelling and exploring the incredible coral reefs. Please note: due to the number of steps in and around this hotel it may not be suitable for guests with walking difficulties or families with pushchairs.

Below Standard We recently stayed at the Tirana Aqua Park over Christmas 2013. We both were extremely disappointed with our stay. The food was awful and there was no clarity on how many times you could eat at the other restaurants. The food was poor throughout we did complain and was told that we could just ask and we could get what we wanted when ever. This went some way but was still concerning that this was a solution opposed to looking at the quality of food. The food was bland, and was not monitored close enough to be re stocked, chefs would walk away without explanation and leave customers waiting. One chef was on his mobile phone whilst serving very poor hygiene. Fruit was left to go brown rather than being replaced. The al a carte restaurants were no better and the lebanese restaurnat was particular bad with no choice and a cold buffet selection. On refusing to eat there we were then almost turned awat in the main restaurant as we were booked for the Lebanese. It was a common discussion point throughout our stay with other British guests who were equally disappointing and felt the hotel was catering for the Russians more so. The reception staff were pretty poor English speakers and failed to book our breakfast boxes and wake up calls and luckily we checked later that day as we felt they had not understood. There was an extra charge for the gala dinner night xmas eve which meant the entertainment was not available for all. Our room man Akhmed made our stay enjoyable and was always smiling and happy and done an excellent job in the room each day, big thank you. Service was poor at the pool bars and after being asked for an order 3 times on the final day we still never received any drinks!!! even when we went to the pool bar and him telling us he would bring them over. Would not recommend this hotel to British people unfortunately they cater for a predominantly Russian crowd where as sea club a few doors down seemed much better equipped. January 6, 2014
Friendly hotel in Sharm Friendly staff Lots of food to choose from for even fussy eaters Extremely clean NOT beachfront but free shuttle service to own part of beach In need of a little repair Not very good evening entertainment Quite central to other areas otherwise there are cheap taxi's available January 5, 2014
Family with children from Hull We enjoyed our stay at the hotel . However there was a lot of building work going on banging and crashing was happening all day . The rooms on first glance are pretty ok but on closer inspection they are filthy, shoes need to be worn at all times or you end up with black feet! Nice aqua park and large area for kids to play. The food needs to be looked at as it was not very nice in the al a cart restaurant. The pool snacks during the day was nice too so the kids filled up on that in case they didn't like the main restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful and would bend over backwards to help us. WIFI prices are 45 LE per hour(about £4.50)Or you could pay 90LE per 2 days(about £9). The pools were freezing apart from the relax pool (which was heated) . To end it off I would not recommend this hotel to anyone . “ Top Tip: We went to Pataya where there are lots of nice shops and not as busy as at Naama Bay.Local mini buses cost around 10LE(£1 for 4 of us)one way.Bargain! Taxi drivers charge you 150LE(£15)one way...... April 29, 2013
Holiday in Sharm El Sheikh First of all I must mention Walid, the Thomas Cook rep. He was wonderful, friendly, easy to tslk to, knowledgeable and a real asset. He is the best rep we have ever had in all of our travels. We could not fault the accommodation. It was kept extremely clean and when we asked for an extra pillow it was there within 15 minutes. The food was average. We have had worse but we have also had better. The service in the pool side snack bar was dreadful. There were 6 chefs to basicaly cook burgers or hot dogs and only 2 waiters. We waited 20 minutes one day to be served. I would also mention Alaa, the waiter of the reception bar. That man works so hard he deserves a raise. He seemed to be the only waiter who cared about efficient service with a smile. I would recommend this hotel for families because of the water park. Also be aware that this hotel is on the flight path from Sharm. Its not too bad when the planes are taking off but incoming planes (which only happened once during our stay) are very noisy. poor holiday at sunrise tiran nabq eygpt very poor holiday for the amount of money we paid for this should of been a five star hotel i wouldof only said it was a 3 if that food was very very poor no entrtainment that kept you entertained pleased we were only there for a week October 11, 2012

very disappointing Thomas Cook The food was very below average especially for a 4 star hotel. A total lack of choice at both lunch and evening. Every night was a themed night Chinese, Indian, Mexican, etc. but no other option if you didn't want themed food. There was only a choice of 1 meat dish, 1 chicken dish and 1 fish dish (same fish dish for 2 weeks). Breakfast wasn't any better, if you like danish pastries for your breakfast you will like this hotel, there was a choice of at least 50. Childrens corner for food was a choice of 4 items which were also the same thing as the main buffet food. The rooms were large and clean. Our family room had air conditioning in the main bedroom and the childrens room and there was a fridge and satalite tv. This hotel is not located near the main resort, just abandoned on its own. The only way to get anywhere is via taxi. August 5, 2012
