This is a great place to stay.
This is a great place to say. The staff are very friendly, the food was great.
The accommodation is challets set in trees and very private. There is pleanty to do such as Salsa dancing on the beach, archery, keep fit, water aerobics, canoe's, cateramans, pedlo's etc. all at no extra charge. All driinks and cocktails are included in the price.
The complex is in a beautiful setting with 5 swimming pools connected by waterfalls and everything is spotlessly clean.
The beach is beautiful with clear blue water, there is quite a bit of seaweed but it is not a problem for swimming or snorkling.
It is well worth having a massage as these are excellent.
I also found the Thomas Cook rep excellent - infact the best Thomas Cook rep I have come across.

Nice gentle resort in Hurgada
Every thing about this hotel is great. The staff, you could not get better.the beach is superb and great for snorkelling. Food I could not fault with a great variety. Well tended gardens, nice and peaceful.

Great hotel with easy access to the Red Sea and coral beds.
The hotel caters mainly for British, German and Italians. Really friendly staff, beautiful gardens. No shortage of sun beds and the best beach on the coast. We've been going there for at least 10 years, that should say it all.

Great relaxing time in Fort Arabesque - Hurghada
Despite a 5 hour delay at Gatwick the holiday was all that my wife and I wanted and planed for.
Hotel:- food/rooms/service/beach and entertainment all to a high standard.
We stayed in the west wing (known as the SAGA wing) it has it's own restraunt / bar / swimming pool with access to what in my opinion was the better end of the beach.Plenty of sun beds (no need to play the towels on the bed game) the beach is as described, with snorkling just a few steps off the shoreline fish every where. The beach is safe as long as you take note of the warning flags and stay within the roped off area ( no speed boats or other craft can get into this roped off area)
There is a dive school at this end of the complex ( IDIVE IS THEIR NAME, WE USED THEIR SERVICES AND CAN RECOMMEND THEM)
We have booked to return in 2013
Our age group is 58 - 68
Hope this is of some help, enjoy the Egyptian experience on the Red Sea

we stayed at the Fort Arabesque in November this year for a week. The general layout of the hotel was very good, we stayed on the ground floor and overlooking the pool and gardens which were kept in a tidy and clean manner. It was a short stroll through the pretty gardens to get to the beach which again was kept tidy as staff made sure it was clean first thing in the morning and then they emptied the rubbish bins by the loungers often during the course of the day. There are signs around the hotel that loungers on the beach are not to be reserved but we found people were leaving towels on them and then going back to the hotel for breakfast. So if you arrived on the beach after breakfast you would be lucky to find a lounger without a towel on. The staff in the hotel were very good especially Meena who worked at the bar, but the staff in the Beach bar were at times unfriendly. The restaurant was more like a canteen and the food was repettitive, the food was cold by the time you got back to your table due to the queuesaround the serving area. The hotel does not cater for the non smoker as they were allowed to smoke virtually everywhere. This was quite frustrating as you would sit down for either a drink or to eat and then somebody would sit close to you and then light up.As there are two seating areas for the restuarant then surely one of them could be set up for non smokers.
Overall we did enjoy the holiday but as I have said what spolit it for us was the food and the smokers.
Craig our holiday rep at the hotel was very helpful as he did manage to sort out a couple of minor problems considering he was only 19 ( looked 14) and had only been in Egypt a few weeks.
