great choice for location food brilliant staff very accomodating nothing too much trouble would go back to this hotel could not fault it at all a most enjoyable stay last week in april

Far better than anticipated
Fantastic room on the front of the hotel with panoramic views. Food was excellent, and staff very friendly and everywhere was lovely and clean. The location could not have been better. The T C rep Steve, was so helpful as We left luggage on our transfer bus from airport to hotel. Steve made all the calls necessary to find this for us. We cannot praise his efforts enough, and anyone travelling to Proturas with T.C. Should have no worries regarding the efficiency of their rep in this resort.

Beware if you are disabled
I am a disabled traveller and with my husband have stayed at many 4 star and 5 star hotels in Europe over the years. I need to use a mobility scooter and have never had a problem in any hotel regarding allowing the scooter to stay in the reception area to charge the motor overnight. Until we arrived at the Grand Resort, Limassol. We were told to park the scooter out of sight in the luggage room as they 'did not want it seen' this made me feel very unwelcome and things only got worse:
After a coule of days without sleep we discovered that my bed was broken, no replacement bed was available and the bed was repaired by placing a board over the broken 'bit'.
Food was cold.
The charge cable for the scooter was stolen, although it was quickly recovered by a staff member.
All in all a very unsatisfactory holiday I would NOT recommend this hotel and will certainly NOt return

no way five star three at a push part of a wedding party very dissappointed
we were part of a wedding party and were very disappointed with the accomadation the room was dark and tatty with a lovely view of the loading bay giving a great insight into the practiises being used why was there nowhere to sit outside in the evening? when they had a large area outside downstairs ?the staff tried very hard but were obviously under paid over worked and under valued the lesser star hotel next door had far superior garden furniture and we wre supposed to be five star ! the entertainment was appaling as was the entertainment area the reception staff were very abrupt and did not seem willin g to be helpful having booked with thomas cook direct one would expect to have thier sevices available not so when you discover once there that you are not actually a thomas cook customer (could have done the same myself on internet only cheaper ) being a public beach have to pay for sunbeds etc not what you expect for all inclusive towels only available at certain times . had to go here to attend a wedding(which had major flawes but did not want to upset bride and groom ) would deffinitely not reccomend if you have been all inclusive elsewhere vert dissappointing would not book through thomas cook again

Constantinos The Great
I am a 77 year old disabled lady I have never had such a holiday before. First they only have one disabled room which we could not have. The room 328 did not have a useable shower as a glass across part of the shower did not allow me to use the shower head even wash my hair I had to strip wash my self all over. Not good in the heat and I can not stand up.They did give extra towels which only useful to keep the floor dry I only found out that there was a disabled toilet in the basement on our last day.
My cousin came with use as my carer and her bed was lumpy and she could feel the springs.The staff were very good but not at the desk it was like we were to much trouble but the only thing we said was about was not being able to use the shower.Five star how. We picked a good hotel why.

very good holiday in protaras
We returned from our holiday in September and was very disappointed at how the hotel had changed. This was our fifth visit and have always been very pleased with the hotel. The hotel is looking very tired and dated and at best is only 3/4 star . Although our room was very clean the ceiling was cracked and paint peeling off, the wallpaper was torn and peeling in places and the curtains ripped. On this occasion the all inclusive was not all inclusive, we had to pay for bottled water or carry glasses of water from the bar to our room to make tea when they advertise tea making facilities. It is not the cost of water but the inconvenience. Also not everyone drinks alcohol but like myself would prefer bottled water. Childrens entertainment was one floor below the bar and you could not hear yourself talk with the music and screeming funnelling through the hotel. We never had this situation before as entertainment was outside. Whilst on the subject of entertainment this was a poor show for adults.

Would definitely recommend this hotel for ALL AGES
We booked our first holiday at constantinos the great and we were NOT disappointed at all. From the rooms to the staff excellent, location amazing the only part of this holiday that I would say could be improved was the food however it was still very good with plenty to choose from, it was only that the hot food wasn't as hot as it could have been!
We hired scooters, quad bikes and buggies and on these we explored every part of the area and more and fig tree bay is by far the best coastline around!! We tried every watersport they had to offer all of which were great fun.
Everything you need is right at ur fingertips. We would highly recommend the zodiac bar just at the end of the drive as they were all amazing and made our holiday. We would also reccommend you search out pottamus a little fishing harbour about half hours drive amazing spot restaurant and people!
Over all amazing holiday July 2012 and have already booked again for next year and taking two teenagers and two children with us as this hotel and location caters for all ages in everyway!,,
