Good holiday for a reasonable price.
We were late booking and so took this as recommended by our Thomas Cook advisor. The apartment was 2 bed and 2 bath with a very large lounge and kitchen and had been recently redecorated. Air conditioning was free and very welcome in August. Our favourite area was the small pool near the apartments which had plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. A great number of good restaurants were within walking distance as was the harbour area where there was a greater choice of food and shopping. The historic site by the harbour is very interesting. We hired a car to see the rest of the cypriot part of the island including a hair raising drive up to Trudos.

Lovely family holiday in Paphos
Had a wonderful fortnights holiday at the Paphos Gardens. We stayed in a 1 bedroom self catering apartment which was cleaned every day and towels changed regularly. Good thing about apartment was the self catering facilites which included a fridge freezer and oven which you don't often find. Only downside was living room area not too large but managed well. Lovely resort and ample restaurants to choose from. We tended to opt for the set menus which they all have and found there to be excellent choices. Our favourite restaurant was the Adelaide which we ate in often. The staff were very friendly and always only to happy to help. Have booked to stay at the Alexandra Hotel next July and cannot wait to return to Cyprus. Plenty to sightsee including the Tombs of the Kings and mosaics. Gets very hot so best to go first thing in the morning. Would recommend Paphos to anyone.

Amazing week relaxing in Paphos!
My boyfriend and I spent a week in Paphos in July this year, staying at Paphos Gardens Hotel and Apartments.
Our room was lovely - spacious, attractive and really clean. Having a balcony was a nice surprise; our expectations were surpassed considering the value of our holiday! We loved the pool! The air conditioning and pool were essentials because of how hot it was.
The hotel is in a great location, only 15 minute's walk from the town, and surrounded by lovely restaurants, our favourite being The Michael Brothers' Taverna which was just across the road, with amazing food and really friendly and welcoming staff :).
The pool bar food was very nice and the pool bar staff really look after you. However, we were paying for B&B and only ate breakfast once. The breakfast wasn't anything special really, and if we were going again I think we would just go self-catering.
Paphos is a really lovely part of the world, really relaxing, and it has something for everyone. We would definitely recommend this holiday, we had the best week :) and the value for money was absolutely great! Thank you Thomas Cook for making it so easy!

The only thing I would say really let us down on the stay in the Paphos Gardens self catering apartments was the lack of cleaning of said apartment.
I do not believe that the toilet or bathroom was cleaned once in our 7 night stay. Also there was no cleaning equipment such as a toilet brush or brush to sweep the floors with which would have helped.
Would not stay here again only because of this and was really let down by the services provided by the cleaning staff. The rest of the hotel was spotless.

This is a 3 star hotel and does exactly what it says on the tin. Compared to a typical Greek studio this was a superior studio as described on the hotel's website. The exterior of the studios/apartments had pretty gardens and a rustic charm, the pool area was never crowded unlike the main hotel pool. Quiet location, just far enough away from the busy centre and a pleasant clean little beach directly opposite and plenty of reasonably priced tavernas close by.

Excellent Value, Great Location
We stayed at the Pathos Gardens Hotel on a half board basis in April 2011. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal and only a five minute walk to the sea and an excellent bar called Deck with stunning views where you can buy a very nice reasonably priced lunch. It took a maximum of 10 to15 minutes to walk to the Harbour along a level beachside path.
The hotel offered a great choice of food both at breakfast and dinner. At breakfast there was always a good selection of hot food including bacon, grilled tomatoes, boiled or scrambled eggs, fried potatoes and toast as well as fresh fruit, yoghurts and a choice of cereals. The choice was equally good at dinner time, where there was always at least one roast meat available together with chicken, fish a wide selection of vegetables and usually a pasta or rice dish too, there was always a cold alternative and delicious greek salads. It was a refreshing change not to have chips served with every meal!
The hotel bar had a happy hour every evening from 5-6 where all alcoholic drinks were half price. There was an excellent selection of beers, wines and cocktails to choose from which were very reasonably priced.
The pool area was very clean with plenty of sunbeds. There was also an indoor pool which was popular with children.
There were plenty of large comfy sofa's in the reception area with two large televisions showing news and sport. The TV in our room was also able to pick up BBC1.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful and accomodating when it came to late checkout, our room was not available for late checkout but they moved us to another room which we were allowed to keep until 10pm just before our airport transfer was due.
We would definitely return to this hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Paphos resort is a really good resort great bars great food and very nice people. The weather in April was really good but it can get a bit cool at night.
We stayed at Paphos gardens which was fine nice pool bar great pool with an added bonus of a indoor pool and plenty of sun loungers the only thing that lets it down is their cleaning rota as we were left with full bins for 3 days even after complaining to reception because of this I would not suggest to any of my friends that they should go there.
Also if you do go and you are given room " NB 203 " make sure that the tree outside the balcony has been cut back.

The last time we stayed at The Paphos Gardens was three years ago, when the catering was a lot better. The purpose of the trip was to show my sister-in-law and her husband the beauties of Cyprus, which was a great success. We took them off road to the Akamas peninsula and to the Muflon enclosure at Tis-Stavros. They were also able to walk on the snow, on Mt Olympus, in the sunshine. We walked in the cedar valley and visited several of the small harbours around the coast. The trip was most enjoyable and I am sure that my sister-in-law and her husband will return.
The worst part of the journey was the flights, which were night flights and the seating was cramped.
