Antalya Resorts

The beautiful region of Antalya, on the Mediterranean coastline that has come to be known as the Turkish Riviera due to its relaxed holiday atmosphere, is home to one of the greatest series of beach resorts that you'll find anywhere in the world.

The geography here is such that most of the resorts near Antalya face south, which makes them an ideal place for a sunny Turkey holiday if your idea of holiday heaven is relaxing on a sandy beach under hot sun and blue skies, with occasional dips in the crystal clear waters to cool yourself off. Holidays near Antalya can be taken in the following resorts:

Side

Gulets in Side Harbour, Turkey

Side (pronounced Seeday) is a bustling resort with a long curve of sandy beach among a largely rocky coastline. In addition to its modern appeal, Side is an old town - it was a major port in Roman times, and visible artefacts and architecture date back 2,000 years. This includes the Temple Of Apollo remains & the ancient defensive wall running round much of the town. Although there are monuments created after the Roman occupation, by the Persians and Alexander the Great, the jewel in the archaeological crown is the utterly spectacular Greco-Roman amphitheatre that has remained largely intact for 1,700+ years.

Kemer

Kemer is one of the few Antalya resorts that faces east rather than south, and is perhaps one of the prettiest beach resorts in Turkey; and there’s lots of competition! With a stunning backdrop of the not too distant Taurus Mountains, the landscape unfurls towards the coast in a sea of olive groves and pine trees before the sympathetic developments of Kemer itself emerges by a long crescent of golden sand. Although this is a small resort, there are plenty of tourist facilities to make your stay a very happy one.

Alanya

Alanya Harbour, Turkey

Alanya is a stunning beach resort, and one of the largest on the Turkish Riviera. Overlooked by the distant range of Taurus Mountains, Alanya is a bustling resort with loads of hotels, restaurants, bars and shops to suit all tastes, and a smattering of historical sites too, including a striking 14th century watchtower that stands guard over the small harbour that now bisects the main beaches. One hotel to look out for is the Long Beach Resort & Spa Hotel, situated in Incekum just 20 minutes from Alanya, you will want for nothing in this brilliant hotel.

Lara Beach

Lara Beach, in contrast, is a perfect resort if you want a relaxing break among peaceful surroundings. It’s a resort that’s known for its choice of luxury hotels, and this undoubtedly adds to its upmarket feel, as does the wide expanse of wonderful luxurious golden sandy beach. One of our most popular hotel resorts is the Titanic Beach & Resort Hotel, seeped in grandeur and situated right next to the beach this is a truly magnificent hotel.

Belek

Belek is the resort that was formed when careful developments of two villages (Belek and Kadriye) grew to such a point where they both merged into one larger conurbation. The village feel is still here, but the bustling atmosphere is more reminiscent of a popular seaside town. Many of Belek’s visitors are golfing fanatics who take advantage of the several courses in the local area, including the prestigious National Golf Course.
