Antalya itself is a resort with an airport that's less than a half hour drive away, so your incoming flight to Antalya will always touch down a convenient distance away from your resort. The region is situated on a long stretch of beautiful Mediterranean coastline known affectionately as the Turkish Riviera due to its number of great beach resorts and the Antalya hotels that are dotted along the south-facing coast.

Well worth an excursion is Cappadocia, an inland region with strange otherworldly rock formations that really do make you wonder if you've somehow stepped off the coach and onto another planet. It's these kinds of wonderful experience that makes a holiday in Antalya such an unforgettable time. Wandering round the resort town of Antalya, it won’t be long until you find yourself in 'Kaleici', the local name for the Old Town district. It's a lovely step out of the present day and as you saunter up the cobbled streets past delightful little wooden houses, you'll soon be rewarded with a lovely view out over the harbour.
