Onboard:
On a ship this scale you will never be short of things to do on your cruise holiday. Catch a movie curled up with a blanket underneath a stunning starlit sky, dress to impress for a night at Skywalkers nightclub, Atlantis Casino or the Explorer’s Lounge. You can enjoy Broadway style shows every night of the week at the Princess Theatre, or sample the finest cigars and cognac in Snooker’s Cigar Bar. There are three picture-perfect pools with spa areas, and even a nine-hole putting course with virtual golf simulator, plus countless opportunities to get active with fitness machines, jogging tracks, tennis courts and shuffleboard. And if that sounds like a bit too much hard work you can broaden your mind in the library or attend a specialist lecture from local guest experts.

Dining:
The Boticelli Dining Room is the place to head for traditional dining, where you will be served in formal surrounding in the same seats at the same time, by your own dedicated waiting team. If you value more flexibility on your cruising holiday you can opt for casual dining, which gives you the freedom to choose when you eat and where you do it; the Trident Grill does tempting hotdogs and burgers and kids will love the ice cream parlour. In addition there’s speciality dining in Sabatini’s Italian restaurant and ribs galore in the Sterling Steakhouse – be sure to book as places fill up fast.

Staterooms:
The Grand Princess has nine slightly different categories of stateroom and even the most basic interior doubles are well equipped with plenty of comfortable amenities. You’ll be provided with ample storage, plush linens and an ensuite with shower if you book one of these, although a lot has to be said for having an ocean view on a cruise holiday. To keep the cost down you could try an Oceanview Obstructed stateroom, which provides natural light from a picture window, or an Oceanview with two portholes and a spacious 168 square feet to unwind in. If you’re planning on pushing the boat out and want a luxury cruise holiday experience the Grand Princess has a portfolio of suites to choose from. Mini suite, family suite or grand suite these are the most luxurious and spacious ways to travel, with enhanced storage and separate living and sleeping areas.
