MS Celebrity Century is a spacious and hospitable ship that offers a fine cruise experience, a good selection of tastefully decorated public rooms, and an outstanding art collection.
The Celebrity Century enjoyed a 55 million dollar makeover in May 2006, revitalizing the ship and in keeping with the style and standards you can expect from Celebrity cruises. The ship provides a best-of-both-worlds experience, featuring a comfortable blend of today's required amenities along with the more intimate ambience offered by smaller vessels.

A seven night cruise at the end of August sees Celebrity Century set sail from its homeport of Vancouver, en route to Alaska. Passing through the ports of Icy Strait Point, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau and Ketchikan, passengers can expect to be dazzled by the dramatic scenery of Alaska with its ancient glaciers and misty fjords. The final leg of the journey sees Celebrity Century head home to Vancouver, passing back through the Inside Passage for a final glimpse of its surreal landscape.
January sees Celebrity Century set sail from Ft Lauderdale, Florida on a Westbound Panama Canal Cruise, allowing passengers to take in some of the tropical jewels of Central and South America. After leaving Ft Lauderdale, she visits Columbia and Panama before stopping at In Costa Rica. With its rich variety of plants and animals, the country is internationally renowned among ecologists as it contains 5% of the entire world’s biodiversity. After leaving Costa Rica, Celebrity Century visits Guatemala and Mexico before reaching her final destination of San Diego, for a real taste of California, and its sun, sea and surf.
The Celebrity Century is perfect for those who like smaller passenger numbers, and with plenty of open deck space on board, there is never a sense of overcrowding. The comfortable cabins offer a generous amount of storage, great for the fashionista who’s partial to an outfit change or two! And with more intimately designed public spaces than others in its class, The Celebrity Century is perfect for mingling with new friends as you sip an after dinner drink.
There is no shortage of exciting cuisine aboard the Celebrity Century, renowned for both its traditional and more adventurous fare. As an alternative to the more traditional, assigned-time, assigned-table dining plans, passengers have the option to dine at a time of their choice and with whom they want. The Grand Restaurant, which covers two levels and overlooks the stern, provides excellent, freshly cooked food - available 24 hours a day as room service. Dress code is casual and comfortable during the day. Evenings range from smart casual to informal and formal evenings require a suit or dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies.
For those who pack for all situations, the Celebrity Century can certainly accommodate. The clean and appealingly decorated cabins possess all the amenities one requires, and the generously sized cabins boast unparalleled levels of storage. The ship provides a space ratio of 39.9 tons per passenger and a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 1.9 passengers at double occupancy. Even at full capacity, the crew to passenger ratio is an unrivalled one to 2.3 passengers - ensuring the highest levels of service for guests throughout their stay. There are a total of 885 cabins on board, 371 with balconies and 194 with an ocean view.
After an evening of deserved indulgence passengers can burn off the calories using some of the ship’s standout facilities, including two swimming pools and a jogging track. For some more relaxed rejuvenation, the Aqua Spa provides a gym, sauna room, aerobics, and a host of health treatments. The two-level, 1000 seat Celebrity Theatre provides excellent Broadway style entertainment and there is a dedicated cinema for those who fancy a night at the movies.
