Great place for a family holiday!
This was out first package holiday as a family and this hotel and complex was an excellent choice. We were fortunate to have a 2 bedroom room for our stay, and whilst it was very clean ( and was cleaned very well daily) the current rooms are quite tired and not 5*. Having said that, we didn't spend much time in them, they were cleaned daily and the free mini bar ( which included Turborg beer) was also replenished daily. The shower room was in most need of updating but again clean, and Dove shampoo , shower wash and hand wash is complimentary. Also a hairdryer in the bathroom. We were fortunate to be in block 3 which was close to the main restaurant, pool and entertainment area but not so much as the noise disturbed us.
The entertainment was very good, a show every night. The boys enjoyed Tarzan, The Lion King and Shrek. The entertainment team worked very hard but were not to intrusive.
The food was very nice, a worry before I travelled but no concerns on that front! Plenty of choice although not sure that I could cope with that amount if food for longer than 10 days!
It is best if you can to sit in the same section each meal as to waiters will serve you each night and you can get a better service - although we had no complaints.
The German and Russian community are heavy tippers which result in them getting tables reserved for them, and always a full bottle of wine rather than a glass!
But all the staff were polite , made an effort to speak and interact and made the stay very nice.
The beach was very close, right next to the hotel. Whilst not golden sand it's not bit stones as suggested. They had water sports available but we didn't find out much much they cost. The only down side was the cost of the shops on site ( with exception of the tourist gift shop) expensive was an understatement.
All euros whereas we'd taken TL and they were not generous with the conversion from Euro to TL. We ran out of sun cream, the Nivea one was £25!! The Turkish one was still £15!
The crazy golf on site was 20Euros which we thought was far to much and probably why no one was using it!
The aqua park was good, not a big as I've liked but it did keep the children entertained . We also enjoyed the slides!!
Heard some horror stories from other travellers staying at other resorts but we really couldn't fault this one. Having said that I wouldn't want to go in the height of the season as it would just be far to busy- and hot!
I don't think we will return but purely because we like to try out different places.
There are local shops near by which we didn't realise where there as we arrived late at night and we didn't venture out - so that could solve the expense on site.
Just take pool toys, plenty of sun cream with you!
Would also suggest checking in for the return flight before you go and printing out the boarding passes at home- there was nearly a riot as one one desk open for non VIP/ on line check ins and it moved at a emails pace. New desk opened, we moved there and was then told we couldn't check in there as it was a mistake. We stood our ground but others behind had no choice. That's really was the only downside do the holiday.
Nearly forgot the James Martin in flight meal are the best in flight meals I've had to date - well worth it and the kids enjoyed theirs too.
No in flight entertainment so take iPads charged with films doe younger children.
All in all a lovely holiday but still probably a little on the expensive side.

Excellent family venue
This hotel has everything a family needs for an amazing holiday. We have 2 boys aged 11 and 14 and they are both insisting that they want to book again for next year! The food in the restaurants included a vast choice to suit every taste and was always piping hot and well presented. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The on-site water park is easily as good as any we've paid to visit and there are a selection of pools if you want something quieter to be left alone to relax or if you want to listen to music. The amazing animation team worked tirelessly around the main pool to involve anyone willing to join in the vast array of activities on offer from shuffleboard to archery, beach volley ball to pool games. With a choice of two very professional shows every evening, you are entertained well into the night and there are a choice of bars and a disco. Everything is free with exception to the mini-golf (approx. £5# and the high rope adventure #about £13) which are well worth the money, but there is quite a steep charge for the tennis so don't think with over 60 tennis courts you might play that everyday because to hire a court for an hour plus the rackets, the cost was about £20. We would definitely recommend this hotel to the fun loving, if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation I would maybe choose somewhere else.

Outstanding service and a spectacular holiday!
This year we booked to go to Ali bey on the 6th August for a week. We have already been twice for two weeks and I have two teenagers aged 17 and 15. We arrived at 4am and we had a choice to eat in the restaurant if we wanted. In Ali bey there is something for everyone to enjoy. The staff are very welcoming. My kids were always at the aqua park having fun with their friends. The food is amazing as it caters for everyone with a variety of choice, the rooms are simply and clean which is just what you want. I advise you that if you have teenagers this is the place to go as the open air disco is brilliant for them! Hopefully we will be booking for next year because we love it so much!

A fab hotel, would advise anyone to stay here!
The hotel was extremely clean, food was fantastic with so many different choices. The hotel has its own beach and aqua park. My teenagers loved it here. If i had to think of a negative i would say that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, therefore days are spent in the complex. We was more than happy with this as there was so much on offer in the hotel. The one thing i didn't enjoy was the flights. The aircraft was far to small and very uncomfortable flights. Crew were great though. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Fab Stay at Ali Bey
Just returned (August 2012) from a Fantastic Stay at the Ali Bey. Daytime temp reached 42 so Pool and Aquapark cool you down nicely. Saying that there is a lovely sea breeze that comes up from the beach so its not an uncomfortable heat. Hard to fault this hotel, yes rooms are a little dated, but seems a refurb is in progress. Food Amazing, fresh ingredients and plenty of it. Watch the Sunset from Beach restaurant. Wonderful evening shows put on for the guests.

arrived in antalya on 29th June and stayed at club ali bey for 2 weeks with my husband and 2 boys age 11 and 9. On first arriving you are taken to reception which is beautiful marble and checked in, the bell boy takes your cases to your room. Club alibey is beautiful gardens with lime, lemon and avocado trees and the accomodation is made up of chalet type apartments.
The dining areas are spotless and the food is amazing, choices are chinese, italian, turkish, continental a bit of everything there is baby food and also a place for those who want to keep there waistline in check.
There are 5 swimming pools on site 1 which is for couples only, so u can have that freetime without the children.
The animation team keeps everyone happy with entertainment for everyone and specatacular shows like the lion king, beauty and the beast, tarzan, the michael jackson experience and many more.4
There is a waterpark 2 mins opposite hotel with slides for all, also a beach where u can soak up the suns rays and listening to the relaxing waves swooshing up onto the beach.
There is something here for everyone and I would recommend
