Kick Off To A Splashing Good Holiday: With Non-Stop Family Fun From Thomas Cook:

Families holidaying with Thomas Cook this summer are in for a real treat with the launch of Splash Kids.

Fully qualified, UK swimming instructors will be on hand to offer swimming lessons to children at all levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers. The travel favourite has introduced this great new activity to selected Sunstar Resorts and they will available this summer from 7th July to 1st September. 

“Splash Kids is something we decided to introduce following feedback from our customers. There was demand for a swimming based activity, so we have brought in qualified swimming instructors to teach children according to their level of skill,” said Tony Hopkins of Thomas Cook.

And the fun doesn’t stop there – as footie fever spreads across Europe following the recent Euro 08 championship, Sunstar Resort Soccer Schools will run football programmes for boys and girls of all ages, so that they too can learn to Bend it Like Beckham.

“Our Sunstar resorts offer a range of entertainment and activities for all of the family and swimming and football are just part of the great family fun that’s on offer “ said Tony.

As well as swimming lessons and football coaching, kids can test their showbiz skills in Superstar Stage schools.  Learning the latest songs and dance moves is just part of the action and by the end of the week they will be displaying their new skills to their families in a Sunstar stage school graduation show.

In addition to learning a new skill, children will also be able to fine tune their reading – those taking part in Splash Kids and Soccer School will receive a free book as well as activity-themed goodies such as goggles, ear plugs, and a host of other treats.

Special promotional flyers are being sent out to all families who have booked their trip for Summer ’08.
