High Street Travel Favourites Unite As One Brand: Thomas Cook and Going Places to lead the way in travel for Irish holidaymakers.

2007 has seen two of Ireland's favourite travel agents - Thomas Cook and Going Places become part of one of the worlds largest travel companies - Thomas Cook Group plc.

Following a full review of its retail network, it was confirmed there will be 25 Thomas Cook and Going Places stores throughout Northern Ireland, and two in Dublin.

In the summer the UK & Ireland division announced the majority of its high street stores would trade under Thomas Cook - apart from a small number that would continue under the Going Places name.

Therefore, over recent months, there has been an extensive refurbishment programme taking place within the Northern Ireland stores.   All of these stores have retained the same staff members and continue to offer the same outstanding service - but now boast the added benefit of being part of the leading and most recognised names in travel worldwide.
