Commission free ATM offers Sterling and Euros at VisitBritain visitor centre in London
Thomas Cook has installed an ATM cash machine offering both Sterling and Euros at the Britain and London Visitor Centre (BLVC), at 1 Regent Street which is the first stop for many travellers arriving in London. This means holidaymakers can get hold of information about the best tourist sites in Britain and conveniently pick up their holiday money at the same time.
With no ATM fees and great exchange rates on Euros, the service, which is offered in partnership with Raphaels Bank, is also handy for those travelling to Eurozone destinations who want a very competitive rate on their Euros. Customers will simply be asked to select whether they would like their cash to be dispensed in Sterling or Euros.
Ian Derbyshire, CEO of Independent Travel at Thomas Cook UK & Ireland, said: “Thomas Cook has been offering travel money solutions since 1874 and the installation of this cash machine at the Britain and London Visitor Centre is a big step forward for us. The ATM is simple to use and with the Centre being the first stop for travellers when they come to London, it is the ideal location for them to access their money quickly and easily.”
Jaco Coetzee, Manager, Britain and London Visitor Centre added: “This new ATM offers a fantastic opportunity for our international visitors to not only book Theatre tickets and find accommodation within the BLVC but they can now access all the Sterling and Euros they need quickly, easily and with no fee.
The Visit Britain Visitor Centre is open seven days a week (except 25th and 26th December and 1st January) and is at 1 Regent Street, London, SW1Y 4XT. The introduction of the ATM at the Visit Britain Visitor Centre is part of a roll-out programme, which will see a number of cash machines being installed at Thomas Cook stores across the UK.
